Full Spectrum Quarantine Facility
(U.S.D.A. Approved Facility)
Full Spectrum Friesian Stables is located in the rolling hills of Northwestern Ohio right off Interstate 75. We provide top quality care for newly imported mares while they go through C.E.M. testing.
The four stall facility provides three large 12x14 stalls for the comfort of your mare and a 14x14 stall for mares
traveling with foals. All stalls are matted and deeply bedded with sawdust.
Dr. Victoria Spellmire is the U.S.D.A. veterinarian who will oversee the C.E.M. testing of your mare.
Dr. Spellmire has a strong background of several years of service in this position. Veterinarian services are provided by Dr. Mike Kline, DVM. Mike has many years of
experience as an equine specialist and trainer. Upon request Mike can start your mare's routine immunizations while she is being tested.
The facility has a grain room so we can customize your mare's feedings as you request. Hay that she will be provided with is a special five grass mix established for our Friesian herd and grown right here on the farm.
Our facility provides a clean, safe and caring environment for your mare while top quality medical professionals perform the required C.E.M. testing.
Services:
- QUARANTINE: Mares only $1,800 for up to three weeks (includes vet and state charges for a normal stay). Mare and foal $2,100 for up to three weeks.
- BLACKSMITH: Mares can be trimmed or shod while here. Trims are $35 and shod all four is $120.
- VET SERVICES: Immunizations and other routine veterinarian services can be scheduled through the facility upon request.
- TRANSPORTATION: The distance from the facility to N.Y. is 600 miles one way. Transportation can be arranged upon request. Please call in advance for transportation costs.

Reservations need to be made two weeks in advance and a 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon making the reservation.

Horse Transportation Services
If you bring a horse into the USA through New York, transportation can be provided from New York’s Federal Quarantine facility to our quarantine facility. In the event you purchase a Friesian from us, we can provide transportation services to many locations within the US.
